During the renovation of Engine 56, our company temporarily called Engine 106 home. While working side by side with the crew, we took inspiration from Engine 106's original crayon-style logo and gave it an Engine 56 twist—creating a design that captures the humor, camaraderie, and personality that make the firehouse feel like home.

Featuring a hand-drawn, crayon-inspired illustration of Engine 56, Engine 106, Truck 13, Ambo 48, and the Avondale firehouse, this playful design celebrates a unique chapter in Engine 56's history. From the smiling firefighter and station mascot to the childlike artwork, every detail reflects the friendships built while sharing quarters.

The front keeps it classic with a traditional Chicago Fire Department Maltese Cross, while the back tells the story with artwork that could only come from firefighters who don't take themselves too seriously.
